Article 10-2 of the Child Welfare Act (Establishment and Operation of the NCRC)
Purpose
Implement child policies, support the development of necessary policies to effectively carry out child-related projects and conduct assessments accordingly.
Mandates

Write papers and analyze the established policies to formulate new child policies

Support the establishment and implementation of Master Plans for Child Policies and assess the annual plan for the implementation of child policies

Support the operation of the Child Policy Coordinating Committee

Support the implementation of the Child Policy Impact Assessment

Provide technical support for child protection services

Promote child abuse prevention activities

Promote the foster care system

Support the operation of regional child welfare projects and child welfare facilities

1. Operation of an integrated database necessary for searching information on adopted children, adoptive families and natural families2. Establishment of, and linkage between, database on adopted children3. Research and development on domestic and foreign adoption policies and services4. Other tasks are consigned by the Minister of Health and Welfare, government or local government according to current or other ordinances.
