NCRC and The Ministry of Health and Welfare held a meeting on Thursday, August 26 in the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul to share the current status and opinions on child policy in both countries with Maria Juliana Lewis, wife of Colombian President Ivan Duque, who state visit to Korea.
With the request of Mrs. Lewis, Yoon Hye-mi, director of NCRC and Ko Deuk-young, head of the Child Policy Division of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, attended the meeting
At the meeting, major policies that the Korean government is focusing on promoting children's nutrition and health according to the child life cycle were introduced in relation to the current status of child policy in Korea and Mrs. Lewis's interest in ‘child health and nutrition.’
